An update for those considering starting a new treatment cycle (1 April 2020)
Our team has been closely monitoring the situation and official advice regarding the COVID-19 situation.
Our Prime Minister announced that all non-urgent elective surgery would be postponed on Wednesday 25 March 2020. With the support of the Health Minister, our current patients are finishing up their treatment cycles. With this news, we did not start any new OPU cycles.
We have been cautiously continuing to offer other cycle types. With the Fertility Society of Australia advising that in the interest of public safety, patients should consider postponing their treatment, we have now made the very difficult decision to temporarily suspend all other cycle types. Patients currently in treatment are able to complete their cycle.
We know that this is difficult news. For now, stay home and stay safe.
At this stage, we don’t know exactly when we will be able to again provide treatment. But, there is nothing we want more than to help you on your journey. We have already started to turn our attention to how we can best assist you so you can start as soon as we are able to. Please contact us if you would like more specific information.
