Dr Yu-Fang Wu is an endocrinologist with a strong interest in reproductive endocrinology and fertility treatment. She graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Engineering with honours (BE (Hons)) and University of Sydney with a Master of Commerce majoring in Finance (MCom) and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). She completed physician training at Westmead Hospital and specialist training at Macquarie University Hospital and Westmead Hospital. She trained in fertility medicine under the mentorship of Dr Howard Smith, Medical Director of Westmead Fertility Centre.
Dr Yu-Fang Wu is a consultant endocrinologist at Macquarie University Hospital. She has experience in all types of diabetes mellitus, obesity, thyroid diseases and women’s health issues such as polycystic ovarian syndrome and menopause. She is warm, approachable and dedicated in delivering comprehensive patient care.
She is committed to self-education and is an active member of the Endocrine Society of Australia, Endocrine Society, Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). Dr Yu-Fang Wu is fluent in English and Mandarin
