Patient experiences

At Westmead Fertility Centre, we are focused on breaking the silence around infertility and raising awareness of  fertility treatments. With one in six Australian couples affected by infertility, solidarity is important. Once people open up and break the silence, they realise they are not alone. Patients courageously share their stories with our team during treatment. Several of our patients have been thoughtful enough to document their stories here, for your benefit. Please note that in order for Westmead Fertility Centre to abide with the  Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency’s (AHPRA) Guidelines, we cannot share patient testimonials. Instead, these stories focus on the personal experiences of patients dealing with infertility and their treatment, in the hope that it will assist you as you embark on your own journey, and realise you are not alone. If reading these stories raises any questions or concerns for you, please contact one of our team for more information or support, or make an appointment with your GP. Contact us at [email protected] if you would like to share your own story.
